They admitted inventing its kinky features, or rather deliberately mistranslating them from the original gossip magazine. |
In fact, this is far from the general Japanese' behavior or sense of worth. |

White Paper on abortion: One in four has had one.
Josei Seven 1/16-23 By Adam Fulford
Josei Seven sent questionnaires about abortion to 2,000 women who read the magazine, and received replies from 1,248, of whom 72 percent were married.
Of the respondents, 25.7 percent had had at least one abortion(two women had had at least six).
The magazine quotes a Health and Welfare Ministry finding that in fiscal 1990 there were 456,797 abortions in Japan, but it says that those in the know believe the actual number is about twice that figure.
The trend is apparently toward fewer abortions overall, but for more abortions among women who are not yet 20.
The magazine's survey indicates that being unable to marry the prospective father is by far the most common reason for a woman to have an abortion.
This was the reason offered by 140 of 333 respondents.
Forty-seven cited tight economic circumstances, and 43 said they didn't want any more children.
Roughly three out of every five of the prospective fathers footed the bill for the abortion.
After the abortion, 138 of 321 women said they felt physically uneasy, and 106 said they regretted what they'd done. (AF)
