>It engaged in scathing denunciations of rival religious groups.
>Members ran for seats in the Dict.
>Large monetary offerings were an obligatory part of belonging.
>And disillusioned members bold enough to try and leave it were roughed up,threatened, followed on the street and subjected to a variety of harassment that resulted in numerous clashes with the law.
ある時日本で、新興宗教団体がカリスマ的な指導者の導きの元に現れた。
団体は富士山の麓に壮大な施設を建設し、自らの王国を作り上げ、そこでは幹部指導者達を「文部大臣」「建設大臣」「外務大臣」「防衛大臣」といったポストに任命した。
団体はライバルの宗教団体の容赦のない批判に携わっていた。
会員達は衆議院に立候補した。
多額のお布施は会員の義務であった。
そして教団を去ろうと勇気を出した迷いから覚めた会員は暴力を受け、脅迫され、跡をつけられ、おびただしい法律に抵触することとなる嫌がらせに晒された。

>Before Niimi could go through with the attack, however he inadvertently exposed himself to the sarin he had intended to use on Ikeda and had to undergo emergency treatment.
その団体の名は創価学会という。
日本で少なくとも非公式で600万世帯が加入している「価値を創りあげる社会」の会員は最近彼らの名誉会長、池田大作がオウムの「自治大臣」新実智光に暗殺のターゲットとされていたとの新事実に衝撃を受けた。
新実は襲撃を遂行する前に、しかしながら池田に使用する目的だったサリンをうかつにも自分で浴びてしまい、緊急手当を受けなければならなくなった。

しかし、話はそこで終わらない、と週刊実話は、創価学会はロシアや他の外国へ布教を拡大することに手を尽くし、信者を威圧して多額の寄付をさせ、専門家の育成を企てており、政府機関内部にスパイを送り込んだと指摘する。
