>An otaku is a Japanese cross between a couch potato and an obses-sive nerd.
>Akkera-kangofu comes from the word akkerakan,which is used for people who are completely unmoved by criticism.
>In the case of nurses it could mean they don't give a damn or couldn't care less about their patients.
オタクとはカウチポテトと妄想癖のある日本人の雑種である。
"アッケラ看護婦"とは批判に動じもしないという意味の「あっけらかん」からきている。
看護婦の場合、これは患者のことを気にしない、おろそかにするという意味がある。

>On the doctors' side are obotchama doctors(very spoiled young men from well-heeled families;lots of these out there), the ones who tell the patients to shut up and do as I say, data does(for whom getting the facts down on paper is more important than the patient),etc.
Spa!は大きな病院での違ったタイプの看護のプロの例を挙げる。
医者としては、お坊ちゃまドクター(裕福な家庭のとても甘やかされた若者；病院にはたくさんいる)、患者に黙れと言って俺の言った通りにしろと言う者、Date does((適切な訳語がありません))(患者より、書類上の事実が大切だとする者)、等・・・。
