>When she told her employers she wanted to quit, many co-workers rallied behind her and urged her to stay on.
営業成績はトップだったのだが、断られ続けることにほとほと嫌気がさしたカメイは仕事を辞めることにした。
会社に退職を申し出たところ、大勢の同僚たちが集まってきて思いとどまらせようとした。
>Even though Kamei says she was thrilled when everybody tried to get her to stay on, she'd had enough of the loneliness of door-to-door sales and was sick of the company.
>A chance meeting with an old high school friend firmed her decision.
それにはちょっとドキドキしたが、カメイは飛び込み営業も会社も、もうたくさんだった。
高校時代のむかしの友だちと会ったことで決心はいよいよ固くなった。
