>"Right now, I ask them to remit 100,000 yen to my bank account a month so that I can pay my rent and utility bills," declares Emiko Taguchi.
>The 28-year-old worker at a metropolitan radio station says she needs 270,000 yen every month to pay for food and clothes.
>But she only makes 200,000 yen a month. "In addition to the monthly remittance, they give me cash and buy me clothes and jewelry," notes Taguchi.
>"Altogether, I think my parents are spending close to 3 million yen a year to help me."
