>A woman is now facing an attempted murder charge after she stabbed her fiance's father because she felt he opposed her marriage plans, only to learn the man was happy to see his son tie the knot, Yukan Fuji (4/15) reports.

>Arrested was unemployed 27-year-old Yukie Kondo, who is accused of stabbing the 73-year-old father of her 37-year-old fiance.
逮捕されたのは２７才・無職の近藤幸恵で、３７才のフィアンセの７３才の父親を刺したことで告発された。

>Kondo admits to the allegations, saying she attacked the old man during a drunken fit because she thought he was going to speak out against her plans to marry his son.

>"Both my fiance's parents had told me off before about how bad my housework was, so I figured they were opposed to our marriage," Kondo told the police.

夕刊フジが記すには、近藤は神奈川県相模原にある彼女のフィアンセの家を訪れ、彼女の結婚相手が不在だったので、一人で酒を飲み始めた。
しばらくして、彼女は未来の姻戚に対して叫び始め、彼女の結婚の予定に反対しているとかれらを激しく非難した。
