They admitted inventing its kinky features, or rather deliberately mistranslating them from the original gossip magazine. |
In fact, this is far from the general Japanese' behavior or sense of worth. |

Ex 'office lady' for tainted condo firm shakes, rattles and rolls in penance flick 2006,02,07
Shukan Gendai 2/18 By Ryann Connell
A young woman has taken it upon herself to atone for her links to a scandal rocking the country over the past few months, according to Shukan Gendai (2/18).
Rina Noguchi is a 19-year-old former OL at Grand Service, a company under the umbrella of Huser Management Ltd., a contractor embroiled in a scandal over the falsification of documents regarding the earthquake resistance of residential apartments.
People were forking out millions of yen for apartments they believed would stand up to strong temblors, only to learn that Huser's buildings were literally on shaky ground and likely to crumble in the quaintest of quakes.
Having played a minor role in Huser's affairs, which have largely dominated Japan's news coverage for months, Rina is racked with guilt.
But, because she's also racked in other ways, the 19-year-old decided to make up for her company's wicked ways by getting wicked herself, albeit by performing as an adult movie actress.
"I'm filled with sorrow about all the people who bought homes made using Huser's faked designs," Rina tells Shukan Gendai.
"I decided to appear in an adult video as penance."
Rina's movie was filmed on Jan. 30 by Paradise TV, an adult-only satellite channel.
Rina appears on screen dressed in a bland uniform typical of those worn by most "Office Ladies" across Japan, then bows deeply in apology.
"I'm terribly sorry we caused such trouble," she says.
Rina performs with a man wearing thick-rimmed glasses and a tacky wig that makes him look like Hirotsugu Aneha, the architect who has admitted to willfully skimping on designs for Huser.
Indeed, as the movie progresses, it soon becomes apparent the resemblance is no coincidence.
"I'm Mr. Imotoha the architect," the lead actor says.
Aneha's name literally translates into English as "Older Sister's Teeth," while the thespian is calling himself "Younger Sister's Teeth."
Imotoha and Rina exchange pleasantries before the building they're in starts shaking in what is clearly a simulated earthquake.
As the room settles down, Rina and Imotoha begin to shake as he gives her a knee trembler that Shukan Gendai describes in a manner considerably more graphically than we will.
When Imotoha reaches his climactic moment of acting, so to speak, the set begins quaking again, setting off an earthquake alarm that shows the temblor has hit a level of 5 on the Japanese earthquake scale of 7 -- the same point Huser buildings were supposed to collapse at.
Low and behold, the set comes tumbling down on Rina and Imotoha to end the movie that clearly parodies the Huser scandal in the news so much in recent months.
"I'd be delighted," Rina tells Shukan Gendai of her adult movie debut, "If my sex scenes made life even a little better for the residents of the affected apartments." (By Ryann Connell)
