They admitted inventing its kinky features, or rather deliberately mistranslating them from the original gossip magazine. |
In fact, this is far from the general Japanese' behavior or sense of worth. |

“若年性倦怠期”の実態調査 家庭内SEXの理想と現実 1991,04,15
Investigating the true state of sexual fatigue among the young:the myths and reality of sex in the home.
Spa! 4/10 By Anthony J. Bryant
Spa! asks the question "Why do men stop having an interest in their wives so soon even though they love them ?" Of course, they don't really give any good answers, but a wonderful fourpage listing of case examples offers a good hint.
The chart, divided across the top into sections, contained the following cells: Occupation, age, yearly income, years married, sex frequency, beginning of the marriage, what is your wife to you ?, opinions on sex with someone other than the wife, things more important than your wife, and a message for your wife.
An example: An insurance salesman, 30, married two years, has not had sex with his wife for eight months; he considers her a demon in human form and gets his jollies "going to a 'fashion health'[brothel] or by masturbation, not with my wife."
Some averages - Age: 33;time married: five years; frequency of "it": 29 times a year.
Wives were thought of as maids five times, equals/friends or lovers six times, and interviewees' mothers eight times.
Things more important than one's wife; money and self were each chosen by three people, job by six, kids by 12; only six said nothing was as important as their wife, and one each preferred golf, an Audi, and a plastic model collection, while one even professed to hold valuable "anything but my wife."
Is there some problem with simple home values here? (AJB)
